Support Cuba's resolution at the UN General Assembly!

The KKE has consistently expressed solidarity with the Communist Party and the Cuban people, and demands an end to the barbaric imperialist blockade imposed by the US for 65 years.

The KKE condemns the current campaign being waged by the Trump administration and the US State Department in particular, who are pressuring and blackmailing governments around the world not to support the Cuban government's resolution to condemn the imperialist blockade at the UN General Assembly. Last year, 187 states voted in favour of lifting the blockade of Cuba, while only the US and Israel voted against it.

In this context, the Greek government of New Democracy is called upon to maintain Greece's long-standing position at the UN in support of the Cuban resolution condemning the US blockade.
